[The camera focuses on Tegan's bare knees for a split second before shifting upwards to show her face. She's wearing dark sunglasses. She laughs. When she speaks there's something of an accent; not thick, but apparent enough to betray the fact that she's not 100% all-American.]

[She fumbles with the camera again. The video cuts to her sitting on her bed, back against the wall. Near her head hangs a Steve Prefontaine poster. She's wearing a thin jacket with one of the sleeves pushed up. The other sleeve is normal length to hide the German colors on her bicep. She waves, then takes off the sunglasses to reveal a fading black eye.]
Hello! I just wanna say I had so much fun in New England. The conference has been great. There were so many awesome teams and players. On a less awesome note, I got this -- [she gestures to the black eye] -- there. I definitely did not get this while I was playing. I don't want to go into too many details, but making fun of someone's accent and then calling them something hugely offensive is -- well, it's offensive, and you shouldn't do it.
[She makes an angry face, but can't hold it for long before grinning.]

it's been a year since i got my baby! and by baby i actually mean tattoo, haha. i couldn't even imagine having a kid! anyway, here it is:

gorgeous, right? it wasn't my first (or last!) tattoo but it's the one i've spent the most time on. aaand i want more ink still.
anyway, i got like eight hundred bruises at practice today. i'm going to be in sooo much pain in the morning! :( i swear i have bruises on my bruises. but it's okay, i love rollerball anyway. my violent mistress~ and this is kinda overdue, but thanks to everyone who came out to support the nightsticks when we played the hammerheads. and don't be too sad, hammerhead fans. you guys played REALLY well. we just played a little bit better, haha. ;)
also, i got new pants today. they're wicked sweet. that's all! |
